PHOTOTAKING
TIPS:
1. Center the subject in the frame of the
picture leaving room around the subject for fading, matting and framing.
2. Make sure your photo is sharp, crisp and focused.
3. Dark pictures with dark backgrounds don't convert well into sketches.
3. Photos taken indoors should be well lit. Use a good flash. Outside
shots in daylight or well lit conditions work best. Photos that have a
lot of contrast in lights and darks work well. A close up shot that clearly
shows facial features and facial shadows work well.
5. Close-up photo of a subject work better than distant shots. A good
guideline would be from the waist up with room left around the subject
(left, top, right). Full body shots of smaller individual work well and
provide enough facial information for conversion.
6. Group shots of people do not provide enough facial details to convert
well, if taken from a distant angle.
7. When taking photos with your DIGITAL CAMERA, please use no less than
1.5 megapixels. Digicams with 2 megapixels are usually good for 4x6 inch
and 5x7 inch prints. Those with 3 megapixels are usually good for 8x10
inch (200dpi) and 11x14 inch (150 dpi) prints.
